JESUS CRISTO É MINHA LUZ

Jesus Cristo é minha luz

Nela eu vou me firmar

Para quando chegar o meu dia

Eu saber me apresentar

Jesus Cristo está no céu

Está na terra e está no mar

Pisa firme com alegria

Para sua história contar

As portas estão abertas

Para aquele que tiver amor

Cumprindo com suas ordems

Perante ao meu Senhor

Grave bem na memória

A quem tu te humilhou

Ao meu Senhor São João

Que Ele te batizou

Recebendo teu batismo

Ele te perdoou

Que o seu coração

Está cheio de amor

Jesus Christ is my light

In which I will firm myself

So that, when my day comes

I know how to present myself

Jesus Christ is in the sky

On the Earth and in the sea

Step firmly with joy

In order to tell your story

The doors are now open

For us to have love

Fulfilling our orders

In the presence of my Lord

Inscribe well in your memory

You who are humble

To my Lord St. John

For He is who baptized you

Receiving your baptism

St. John forgave you

So that your heart

Will be full of love
