OLHO PARA O FIRMAMENTO

Olho para o firmamento

Olho para o firmamento

Vejo uma estrela brilhando

Vejo uma estrela correndo

Essa estrela que correu

A estrada iluminou

Foi cair nas verdes matas

A floresta clareou

Essa estrela que mais brilha

Ela vem anunciar

Que o vento é quem domina

E tudo ele faz balançar

Mas o meu pai de puro amor

Ele quer todos assim

Todos perfilados

Em direção do seu jardim

I look to the firmament

I look to the firmament

I see a star shining

I see a star racing

This star that raced

Illuminated the road

It fell into the green woods

The forest brightened

This star that shines most

It comes to announce

That the wind is what rules

And everything it makes sway

But my father of pure love

He wants everyone this way

All lined up

Toward his garden
