EU VI DESPONTANDO LÁ NO CÉU

Eu vi despontando lá do céu

O arcanjo São Miguel

Ele vem com sua falange

Com os anjinhos do céu

Vem do reino do meu pai

Este belo arco-íris

Com suas cores benditas

Vem trazendo a alegria de ser livre

Estou aqui vou me compor

Me compor neste jardim

No jardim de belas flores

Da sempre Virgem Maria

Vem do reino do meu pai

Esta primorosa festa

Unidos com muita alegria

Damos viva à rainha da floresta

I saw breaking forth from heaven

The archangel Saint Michael

He comes with his phalange

With the little angels of heaven

From the kingdom of my father comes

This beautiful rainbow

With its blessed colors

It comes bringing the joy of being free

I am here, I will compose myself

Compose myself in this garden

In the garden of beautiful flowers

Of the ever Virgin Mary

From the kingdom of my father comes

This exquisite feast

United with much joy

We give a cheer to the Queen of the Forest
