II MY LANTERNS

I looked down here below

I saw it was growing dark

My father was the one who sent me

So that you may feel secure

I brought my lanterns

Right close to where you are

With them I illuminate

Wherever you shall pass

Awaken, Oh! My friend

For I gather whoever surrendered

Firmness in the thought

And faith in our lord

Oh! Light of such great joy

His holy love guides me

The one who illumines me

Is the one who has already forgiven me

I answer Your call

Present here I am

At the feet of my beloved
