⍟149. SAINT FRANCIS AND SAINT CLARE

Saint Francis and Saint Clare

The divine love they proved

It was in times of the past

Brother Sun and Sister Moon

They illuminated the future

If this story is true

Good seed was planted

I give thanks here on the earth

The flower and the fruit of this life

Which to my father was consecrated

Oh what great joy,

The sunset on this Subasio

Francisco, Clara, the firmament

United they are beneath the stars

Eternally in our soul
