⍟97. THE DREAM
English
- Mazurca · 6/8
I woke at dawn
With the stars up above
From a dream I was waking
And was singing this hymn
I wanted to love the world
And the world would not hear
It was Jesus who spoke
And the people only laughed
I discovered that the devil
Dwells on the tip of the tongue
I promised that I would keep silent
So as no longer to die in want
It was then that I looked at the sun
I saw the moon and the universe
Everything was so awake
That it seemed a few meters away
I felt such joy
That out of love I made this verse
In the astral I travelled
And confirmed my purpose
Of my Father I asked help
Health to my Padrinho
For this divine house
Is His and also mine
It is enough that all watch over it
And consecrate it in the heart
We have equal right
To be made equal in perfection
It was on a night like this
That the Savior was born
And the Ever Virgin Mary
From the moon worked her power
Long live the Kings of the Orient
Who arrived at the dawn
But the glory of this Child
Is greater than gold and jewels
The heaven and the earth trembled
From so much rejoicing
The son of the Eternal Father
Among us still lives
The Shepherd of the universe
Will gather his harvest
Will take up to the heights
Each one of his elect
