⍟61. THE CROSS

My God, give me courage

Give me your love

I want to be a son of yours

Even suffering this pain

I saw Jesus crucified

Crowned with thorns

Then the Master told me

This pain is also mine

In this hour of agony

It is to weep and to repent

For the Master comes gently

To receive our efforts

In this hour of terrors

Do not complain of bad luck

For the Master shelters us

Gives us life even in death
