PRELEIÇÃO

Eu digo aos meus irmãos

E todos prestem atenção

Agora daqui pra frente

Não terá apelação

Eu quero a certeza

Da esperança de um dia

Ter fé na Virgem Mãe

Que é quem guia a travessia

Santa Bárbara me proteja

Que pra mim chegar

Sopra essa barquinha

Para ela dar no mar

Eu dou viva a esse mistério

Que vem lá de cima

Viva o Papai do céu

Que ensina e domina ⇒Foi ele que mandou

O seu favo de mel

São João chegou na terra

Viva Santa Isabel

Homens e mulheres

Herdeiros das estrelas

Fundem já o reino

Que agora está no relho

Jesus Cristo veio à terra

Seu sangue é ouro em pó

Replantou Santas Doutrinas

Lá de dentro de um cipó

Meu Mestre me dá força

Pra eu continuar

Sustenta esse filho

Não deixa o mal derribar ⇒Continuando digo

Pra quem quiser ouvir

Estou travando umas batalhas

E é pros meus irmãos seguir

Isso aqui é preleição

Do meu Rei Davi

O jogo está aberto

E eu não vou mais repetir

Santa Maria veio ao mundo

Foi para suavizar

Quiseram violar

E agora quem vai pagar?

Viva a luz desses meninos

Tremulando nesse mundo

Viva a luz das virgens

Brilho claro no profundo ⇒Viva o respeito e a lealdade

Cumprimento do já dito

Alegria no trabalho

E união de nós em Cristo

Se lembram que são irmãos

Do sol e mensageiros

Se sagrar em São João

E se tornar seu cavaleiro

Vou dar prova do que digo

Pra poder ensinar

Mas o que me disserem

Eu agora vou cobrar

Justiça é para todos

Está em execução

Quem está executando

É o Senhor Rei Salomão ⇒Mandei mais uma prova

A hora da tormenta

Brilho de uma Santa Clara

E quase ninguém agüenta

Estou me apurando

Pra ver se nós já vence

Viva São Sebastião

E viva toda essa gente

Dou viva a todos santos

Que não puderam estar

Quando formos melhorando

Nós vamos poder louvar

O castigo ia ser dado

Pros finais do tempo

Mamãe me perdoou

Vamos nos perdoar também ⇒Dou viva a nosso Mestre

Que é o maior que há

Viva todas alianças

Que a esse Império se firmar

Aqui vou terminar

Pedindo muito amor

A hora é da mudança

Não desistam por favor

O meu último verso

Pra preleição acabar

Firmem em Juramidam

E deixem o tempo estar

I say to my brothers

And let everyone pay attention

Now from here onward

There will be no appeal

I want the certainty

Of the hope of one day

To have faith in the Virgin Mother

Who is the one who guides the crossing

Saint Barbara, protect me

So that I may arrive

Blow upon this little boat

So that it reaches the sea

I give a cheer to this mystery

That comes from on high

Long live the Father of heaven

Who teaches and rules ⇒It was He who sent

His honeycomb

Saint John arrived on the earth

Long live Saint Elizabeth

Men and women

Heirs of the stars

Found now the kingdom

That now is at the whip

Jesus Christ came to the earth

His blood is gold dust

He replanted Holy Doctrines

From within a vine

My Mestre gives me strength

For me to continue

Sustain this child

Do not let evil cast him down ⇒Continuing, I say

To whoever wishes to hear

I am waging some battles

And it is for my brothers to follow

This here is prelection

Of my King David

The game is open

And I will not repeat again

Saint Mary came to the world

It was to soften

They wanted to violate

And now who will pay?

Long live the light of these children

Flickering in this world

Long live the light of the virgins

Clear brightness in the deep ⇒Long live respect and loyalty

Fulfillment of what was already said

Joy in the work

And union of us in Christ

Remember that you are brothers

Of the sun and messengers

To be consecrated in Saint John

And to become his knight

I will give proof of what I say

So as to be able to teach

But whatever you tell me

I will now hold to account

Justice is for all

It is being carried out

The one who is carrying it out

Is the Lord King Solomon ⇒I sent one more proof

The hour of the storm

Brightness of a Saint Clare

And almost no one endures

I am refining myself

To see if we may yet win

Long live Saint Sebastian

And long live all these people

I give a cheer to all the saints

Who could not be present

When we go on improving

We will be able to praise

The punishment was to be given

For the end of times

Mamãe forgave me

Let us forgive one another too ⇒I give a cheer to our Mestre

Who is the greatest there is

Long live all the alliances

That hold firm to this Empire

Here I will end

Asking for much love

The hour is of change

Do not give up, please

My final verse

For the prelection to end

Hold firm in Juramidam

And let the time be
