BOTÃO DE RAINHA

Oh Mãe, Vós sois tão formosa

No fundo deste resplendor

Enalteço beleza de prata

Regaóc do mais puro amor

Oh Mãe, sois força e potência

Que vens toda noite reinar

Sois Mestra do Jogo Divino

Princípio que eu devo achar

Depois que o sol se retira

Sois Vós que vem comandar

A terra toda agradece

A carícia do Vosso luar

Eu sinto o vento dizer

E a floresta proclamar

Que Vós sois força e potência

E a terra é o Vosso altar

O silêncio eterno em teu seio

É um hálito de paz e amor

Me embalo em Vossas estrelas

Que me fazem lembrar quem eu sou

E eu sou devedor, oh Rainha

Da graça de Vos conhecer

E venero Vossas filhas na terra

Que em botão ainda estão por nascer

Oh Mother, You are so beautiful

In the depths of this splendor

I exalt beauty of silver

Lap of the purest love

Oh Mother, You are strength and power

Who come every night to reign

You are Mistress of the Divine Game

The Principle that I must find

After the sun withdraws

It is You who come to command

The whole earth gives thanks

For the caress of Your moonlight

I feel the wind saying

And the forest proclaiming

That You are strength and power

And the earth is Your altar

The eternal silence in your bosom

Is a breath of peace and love

I cradle myself in Your stars

That make me remember who I am

And I am a debtor, oh Queen

For the grace of knowing You

And I venerate Your daughters on earth

Who, still in bud, are yet to be born
